The "normal" Olympic Games were reestablished 1904, reconnecting to the Games of Old Greece. The "ideology" behind was "orange" rational: fostering healthy democracy, wise and peaceful internationalism. Remember: This was at a time when tensions grew and an upcoming war could be sensed.

The Paralympics were started in the 1960s. The idea could not have started earlier. We can see the first societal signals of postmodern green - diversity, etc., but still fully enmeshed in the paradigm of (orange) competition.
